SUMMARY:Peshekee Grade Outing
DESCRIPTION:When:  Thursday, June 23rd  – Meet at the Ishpeming Park and Ride lot (just East of Da Yoopers Tourist Trap on the North side of the highway) at 6:30 AM.  We can carpool from there.\nBring :  Lunch and beverage, bug dope, binocs, footwear for hiking, clothing to keep off the bugs, and sunscreen.\nBe ready: To see/hear birds and critters and beautiful scenery along the Peshekee River.  Hopefully some boreal species (ie. Boreal Chickadee, Canada Jay, Black-backed Woodpecker) but no guarantees. …and have fun hanging with other birdy people.\nFYI:  There is an outhouse at the McCormick Wilderness parking lot, but there will be no other bathroom facilities.  How long this outing lasts depends on many factors.  If you need to get back to town at a set time, consider driving yourself or there may be others that want to get back earlier that you can carpool with.\n
