Gwinn 2024 Audubon Christmas Bird Count

The 2024-25 Gwinn Christmas Bird Count, held on January 4, involved six observers covering nearly 67 miles. They recorded 758 birds of 27 species, with a notable high for Ruffed Grouse. Despite challenging weather, excellent coverage resulted in species totals close to historical averages, maintaining a cumulative total of 53 species.
