Getting outdoors. Enjoying nature. Conserving natural resources. Whether it’s an eagle diving to snatch a fish, a forest floor covered with ramps, flocking Bohemian waxwings, rushing spring waterfalls, or a peaceful sit on the Presque Isle cliffs – all the wonders of nature await us, we have to step out the door. Nature reduces stress, helps keep us fit, and increases our awareness and concern for the environment. We are tremendously fortunate in Michigan to have so many places to experience nature. Audubon concentrates on the amazing experiences of seeing birds, which always include plants and all of the wildlife, as well as geology, meteorology, and astronomy. Come with us and explore the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
