ADVENTURES IN BIRDING SOUTH AFRICA

White-fronted Bee-eater – Mark Hubinger

PRESENTERS:Mark & Joanie Hubinger
Mark and Joanie have been birding since they were first married 45 plus years ago. They have been involved in volunteering at Whitefish Point, where Mark was a past board member in the early 90ā€™s, to leading bird-walks at Santa Ana NWR in southern Texas in recent years. Their birding travels have taken them to several countries around the world, where they’ve enjoyed the culture, food and people in addition to their passion for nature, with emphasis on birding!

Adventures in Birding South Africa:

This will not only be about the colorful and unique birds of South Africa, but the many animals of the country. From elephants, monkeys, rhinos, to the brilliant starlings, hornbills, sunbirds, and bee-eaters. With visits to national parks and a pelagic boat ride, we will give you a great feel to a great destination.

Be sure to mark your calendars for this great program,

Cathy Waller
LWAS secretary
