Talk: Penguins and Pinnipeds of Patagonia

Presenter: Jeff Towner, retired Wildlife Biologist, LWBA Board President

Jeff will present a travelogue of breeding sites of South American sea lions, Southern Elephant Seals, Magellanic Penguins, and other wildlife on the Atlantic coast of Argentina.

Jeff Towner is president of the Laughing Whitefish Bird Alliance and a certified wildlife biologist. Jeff has been motivated by a love for wildlife and wilderness all his life. After retiring in 2016, Jeff and his wife Diane carefully considered where in the country they wanted to live, and they moved to the U.P. because of its high quality of life and outstanding environmental values. They both enjoy birding, hiking, skiing, paddling, boating, traveling, and spending time with their kids Erin and Daniel.
